- Build new applications supporting different propositions based on region and build new features for existing solutions
- Develop on a range of devices (LG, Samsung, Android TV, PlayStation, XBOX and Roku)
- Help us to maintain a high standard in the team by taking part in code reviews, technical discussions and suggesting improvements
- Come up with sophisticated solutions to deliver features and fixes in time, while keeping the codebase stable and maintainable
- A solid understanding of software design and development principles, coupled with providing constructive and objective feedback
- An expert-level understanding of JavaScript - additional strong knowledge of a statically typed language such as TypeScript would be a plus (we use TypeScript)
- A deep understanding of how to build and maintain highly usable and reliable libraries !
- Proven skills in building expertise in complex domains - existing knowledge of streaming or developing for embedded systems would be a plus
- The pragmatism and ability to work quickly in an existing codebase without accruing technical debt as well as to raise others to the same standard

What you'll do
You'll join the Peacock International Team within Global Application and Discovery which includes applications such as Peacock (leading streaming application in US), Sky Showtime and new upcoming propositions. This team is responsible for development of applications and frameworks that help internationalise the streaming application working across territories and languages.
